Psychotherapy services are provided by Kathryn G. O’Brien, PhD, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. These services are clkinical in nature and governed by Missouri law and professional standards.
Scope of Services
Psychotherapy is intended to address diagnosable mental and emotional health concerns through evidence-based clinical methods. Services may include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning within the scope of licensed clinical social work.

What Psychotherapy is Not
Psychotherapy services described on this page do not include holistic energy work, Reiki, crystal-based practices, spiritual counseling, or any other non-clinical or alternative wellness services.
Licensure & Regulation
Kathryn G. O’Brien is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Missouri. Psychotherapy services are subject to Missouri statutes, administrative rules, and ethical standards applicable to licensed clinical social workers.
Fees & Insurance
Psychotherapy services may be billed to insurance where ap[plicable or provided on a self-pay basis. Fees, billing practices, and insurance participation are discussed during the intake process. Please contact Dr. O’Brien to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
Informed Consent
Participation in psychotherapy requires completion of a clinical intake and informed consent process consistent with HIPAA and professional standards. Clinical records are maintained in accordance with applicable law.
