Some Seasons Cannot Be Hurried
We live in a culture that values acceleration.
Faster healing.
Faster answers.
Faster transformation.
Faster clarity.
But life does not always cooperate.
Some seasons insist on their own pace.
Grief. Trust. Learning. Integration.
Each has a rhythm.
And no amount of effort can force what requires time.
Perhaps the question is not:
"Why is this taking so long?"
But:
"What if this season is unfolding exactly as seasons do?"
Winter cannot be rushed into spring.
Nor should it be.
There are things that become visible only when we stop demanding immediacy.
Not every season is productive.
Some seasons are preparing.
And preparation, though often invisible, is still movement.
Exercise.
I find that a focus on sensory connection helps the experience to surface, allows the invisible to arise at exactly the right moment.
