FAQs: Insight & Wellbeing Sessions

Is this therapy?

1

No. Insight & Wellbeing sessions are non-clinical and are not psychotherapy. They do not include diagnosis or mental health treatment.

How is this different from psychotherapy?

2

Psychotherapy is a clinical service governed by licensure and treatment standards. Insight & Wellbeing sessions are reflective conversations focused on clarity and meaning-making.

Who are these sessions for?

3

Adults seeking structured reflections around decisions, transitions, patterns, identity questions, or personal concerns, who are not seeking mental health treatment.

What happens in a session?

4

Sessions are conversational and structured. We begin with what you would like to explore and proceed from there. Selected sessions may include energy work if requested, such as Reiki, stone reading, or crystal energy.

Do I need to believe in energy work or crystals?

5

Energy is a scientific concept, as learned in school. All matter is energy. The human body has an energetic field that responds to vibrations of energy from other humans, from animals, and from the subtle energies of matter like stones and crystals. Spiritual belief is not necessary for this work. It is the client’s option to make personal meaning within the client’s own framework, whether or not that framework includes spirituality.
